Principal’s Message
I hope each of you had a great Holiday Season.
As we begin a new semester students and teachers will increase skills needed for the state mandated writing test in February and achievement tests in April. These tests are important for each student and our school. The skills are specific to each grade level and the skills that should be mastered in that grade. The test gives teachers and parents a clear picture of what skills each student has successfully mastered and which need to be improved.
The writing test will be given February 20, 2008. This fifth grade test will be scored by the state. Daily writing will be practiced at school to help students prepare.
