July 17-22: Oklahoma Youth Preparedness Camp

OK Youth Preparedness Camp

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to learn basic response skills, teamwork and action planning at the OK Youth Preparedness Camp, July 17-22, at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

This free overnight camp is geared toward students who want to help their school and family become more prepared for emergency situations. Participants will stay in NSU residence halls.

Students will learn about community action planning and gain basic emergency response skills. At the end of the camp, all participants, including adult chaperones, will get a 20-hour Community Emergency Response Team certificate.
