A reminder from the OSSAA that if ANY group (radio station, newspaper, parents, booster club, students, etc) would like to video live stream any part of an OSSAA playoff event during the 2021-22 school year, regardless of sport or length, they will need to fill out a video live streaming playoff request form. This needs to be sent to me four (4) days prior to the contest being played so I can get it approved.
Regardless of where the video live stream is hosted (school website, radio station website, newspaper website, social media, Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, Twitter, etc), the form must be filled out and approved before the video live stream is allowed. You can find the form on the OSSAA website under the MEDIA tab. A new form needs to be filled out for each round of the playoffs.
PLEASE share this information with your coaches, local media, booster clubs or fans that might be interested in video live streaming so there is no confusion.
A complete list of approved video live streams for the Class 4A-3A-2A Basketball Area Tournaments can be found on the homepage of the OSSAA website and on the Basketball Page of the OSSAA website. If your group is not listed and they would like to video live stream, please send the form to me by noon today and I will get you approved. If the request is not in by noon today, I can't guarantee that you will be approved as I will be out of the office the rest of the week at the Class "A" and "B" Basketball State Tournaments.
