Idabel Public Schools is glad to share that, once again, all students enrolled from Pre-K through Senior year will receive free breakfast and lunch this school year.

Last night, Idabel Public Schools, in partnership with the Idabel Police Department, took the first steps toward hiring a School Resource Officer for our district.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain a top priority at Idabel Public Schools, and we are committed to taking proactive steps to keep our schools safe. We believe our schools and community are Better Together.

Idabel Senior, Clayton Loard scored a perfect 36 on his ACT this summer. Clayton is a member of the Warrior Football team, Key Club, & National Honor Society. Clayton said, "I just want people to know this has been a process and his teacher's from pre-k through now, his coaches, tutors, family, and his girlfriend have all contributed to this success." He definitely has worked hard for this. We are all very proud of him!

Dr. Alan Bryant addressed the entire Idabel Public School staff in a welcome back to school speech this morning.

Don't forget our Ice Cream Social today at 6PM! Come eat some cool free Ice Cream , meet some cool teachers. Everyone is welcome especially all of our High School athletes. We want you to come see the future Warriors.

Welcome back, Warriors!
Superintendent, Dr. Alan Bryant welcomes our students, families, and staff to the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited for another year of learning, growth, opportunity, and Warrior pride at Idabel Public Schools!

Welcome to Warrior Nation!
We are thrilled to announce that Brandi Gross will be joining us as the new Principal of Idabel Primary South Elementary!
Brandi has spent more than 15 years dedicating herself to education, working as an Alternative Education and Special Education teacher. She knows what it takes to reach kids who learn differently, and she knows how to walk alongside families who need extra support and understanding along the way.
She earned her bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Psychology from Oklahoma State University, and went on to get her Master's in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. She's put in the work, and our students at Primary South are going to be the ones who benefit from it.
Brandi and her husband, Don, are proud parents of seven children and grandparents to eight grandchildren — a family built on a deep commitment to raising and supporting the next generation.
We are so thankful Brandi felt called to join our Warrior family, and we can't wait to see the way she invests in our students, staff, and community.
We'd love for our community to stop by and meet Brandi in person — come welcome her to Primary South and see the exciting things ahead!
Welcome to the family, Mrs. Gross — we're glad you're here!

We will be having a reception to recognize the retirement of Rachel Surratt on Monday July 13, 2026 at 5pm at the Idabel High School Library. We would like to invite all family, friends, parents, & students, current & former to come celebrate.

Idabel Public Schools would like to thank Mrs. Stephanie Ratcliff, Principal of Idabel Primary South for her years of service in Idabel. Mrs. Ratcliff accepted an administration position with Horatio Public Schools.
She spent her Idabel career serving the students of Idabel Public Schools, first as a classroom teacher and special education teacher, and most recently as Principal of Primary South. During her time as Principal, she implemented Character Days and Student Activities Days that brought joy and connection to our students, while also championing new literacy strategies and standards-based grading practices that strengthened student learning.
Mrs. Ratcliff's heart for kids and commitment to their growth have left a lasting impact on our Primary South family. Thank you, Mrs. Ratcliff, for your years of service to our students and community. Congratulations on your new role, and best wishes on this exciting next chapter!

We’re excited to give our community and supporters a look at the vision for our new weight room!
This renovation is something we’re extremely proud of. We are working hard to build something special for our student-athletes here at Idabel.
This space is going to elevate how we train, how we develop, and the standard we hold every single day.
We are currently on track for completion in July, and we can’t wait to bring this vision to life.
Thank you to our administration and everyone who continues to support Idabel Athletics!
Again, special thank you to Dr. Alan Bryant for sharing our vision our vision for Idabel Athletics and helping us pursue our goals.
