Congratulations to Carrie Fletcher Central’s Teacher of the Year! We are super excited for Carrie’s well-deserved recognition! Carrie is a second grade teacher at Central. Her first comment was to make reference to Shannon Pond for being the wind beneath her wings! This type of team work and sharing by Carrie and others at Central helps to set us apart from other schools as we Create Champions for Life!

She sees every child in our building each week developing a relationship with them so, they feel safe and readily share their fears, concerns and successes! We appreciate you!

Idabel Central Warrior Archery team traveled to Poteau, OK to compete in their first tournament and not only did a great, but they also had a great time! Team sponsor, Lyndsey Hastings, received the necessary training and we incorporated it with our ABC program. Harper McElroy came to my office one day and asked if it would be possible to have an archery class. Her dream became a reality for herself and others. I am super proud to be able to offer this program at Central Elementary! Great things are happening at Idabel Central!
