
Donate your loose change to help Central Library get books! All For Books Coin Drive Challenge begins THIS Monday January 22!

Idabel Central students were recently recognized for inclusion in Duke TiP. The Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TiP) identifies gifted students. Idabel Central’s Fifth Grade students in Mrs. Garrison’s math class are busy participating in a hands on activity that includes measurement, rounding off, and volume of the objects chosen. Students were expected to measure twelve different items. They had a fun time learning!


Idabel Central students arrived back after the break ready for a hot breakfast, a reconnect with friends and an energized attitude to learn in 2018!

Idabel Central’s Fourth and Fifth Grade Spelling Bee Champion is Sam Vasquez. First Runner-up is Ryan Robbins and alternate is Sharice Harris.



Idabel Central’s Second and Third Grade Spelling Bee Champion is Emerson McElroy. First Runner-up is Saul Gil.



Idabel Central’s counselor, Krista Sain and fourth grade teacher, Karen Pond were awarded EZ Mart grants to assist with enhancements for student achievement and learning.


Central students celebrated reaching Accelerated Reading goals. Students received awards and several were selected to “pie” a teacher.
