ATTENTION TO ALL WHO VISIT OUR SCHOOL SITES
Last Friday, a new law went into effect which allows, in many cases, open or concealed carry of a firearm without a license. This law DID NOT change any statute as it applies to carrying a firearm on school property. Currently, only sworn peace officers are allowed to carry a firearm on school property. We ask that they have clear identification of their status as a peace officer as well. This includes all school property regardless of the function or sponsor.
The only exception allowed is a firearm may be carried inside a car (non-school owned vehicle) in the parking lot. The firearm must be out of sight at all times. If the vehicle is unattended, it must be locked.

A special thank you message from Superintendent Doug Brown. #nextlevel #preparingchampions #GOWARRIORS

Research shows that chronic absence can be addressed when school districts, communities, and policymakers work together to monitor the problem and implement solutions to address the underlying causes. #attendancematters #nextlevel #preparingchampions #GOWARRIORS

Chronic absence means missing 10% or more of school days due to absence for any reason can translate into 3rd-graders unable to master reading, 6th-graders failing subjects and 9th-graders dropping out of high school. #attendancematters #nextlevel #preparingchampions #GOWARRIORS
