Tomorrow and Friday are virtual days for Idabel Public Schools. All IHS students need to make sure they check in with ALL of their teachers each day. Attendance will be taken through advisement class. Students will need to make sure and check in with their advisement teacher also. Each teacher will have office hours over the next two days, please do not hesitate to ask questions. Labor Day is Monday and school will be out. We will see everybody again Tuesday morning. This week Idabel Rotary issued four scholarships to Idabel High School for the pilot dual enrollment program! This program is a partnership between Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Idabel High School that allows kids to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time. Although SOSU waived tuition there are still fees for these classes. The fees totaled $237 per course per student. The four scholarships will cover the fees of four different students to enroll in one of these courses. The club donated at total of $948 to cover fees for of four students taking 3 credit hours each. Pictured are IPS Superintendent/Club Member, Mr. Doug Brown, and Club President Mr. Brad Morse. All #ipswarriors campuses will have our first virtual days on September 2nd and 3rd. All employees will be participating in trainings while our custodial staff will be deep cleaning all campuses. Students must check with their teachers both days. #preparingchampions #GOWARRIORS

All students need to bring their paperwork and money for their Chromebook tomorrow. If any student has a Chromebook from last year they must bring it tomorrow morning and check it back out. We will begin using our Chromebook tomorrow and so it is important that students take care of this first thing tomorrow morning! ~Principal Austin

Reminder to the senior class: Senior Sunrise is happening tomorrow at Warrior Stadium beginning at 6:30 am. There will be doughnuts, snacks, drinks, and door prizes before we gather to take the "Last First Day" group picture for the yearbook. At 7:30, the senior parade will leave the stadium and head to the high school. Decorated cars are encouraged!

First day of school is tomorrow morning. We are so excited to start the new year. Gates open at 7:30 AM in the morning. We will have breakfast available. Tonight is freshman orientation at Idabel High School.This is a great opportunity to meet the high school staff and tour the campus. We are excited for the new year and eager to meet you all. IHS Sophomores today is your day to enroll at Idabel High School. Enrollment is from 1 PM to 3:30 PM today at the high school cafeteria. Everyone needs to come out and complete enrollment because once school starts schedules will not change. ~Principal Austin

Junior enrollment is happening right now at IHS! Come get your transcript, and choose your schedule. The counselors are enrolling Juniors until noon today! If you don’t choose your courses we will make your schedule for you and pick your classes. On August 12th (first day of school) we are going to begin learning and will not make any schedule changes. -Principal Austin

Idabel junior and Lady Warrior golf team member Kirah Harjo won the Red River Summer Golf League 16-18 division. Earlier in the season she also won that age division at the Atoka Tournament. Go Warriors.

Important announcement for all IHS students: This year all students will come up on a specific day and get your schedule. At this time if there are any corrections needing made you will be able to meet with the counselors and do so. It is our mission to be ready to go the first day of school and not make any more schedule changes. This is why we are giving each grade level their own day to come up here in July, make corrections, and pick up their correct schedule. On August 12 when students return we will go to class just like every other day and begin the learning process. If one of these days does not work for you please contact the office first thing next week so that you can be given an alternative date. The schedule is as follows: July 26 - 8 AM-Noon - Seniors July 27 - 8 AM-Noon - Juniors July 28 - 8 AM-Noon-Sophomore July 29 - 8 AM-Noon - Freshman -Principal Austin
