Some of the changes include: -A letter from Principal Austin -IHS' COVID Plan -IPS' Return-to-Learn Plan -All visitors, guests, and parents, need to make an appointment before coming on campus. Once an appointment is made, the visitor will be screened and allowed only in the office. -Paper report cards will not be printed anymore. Parents need to get a sign on for Wengage to access grades. Paper progress reports and report cards will only be available upon request. To obtain your login, please email sallyknight@idabelps.org -Attendance policy. Richard Logan is District Truancy Officer. If you test positive for Covid 19, you have to provide documentation to the high school office. Students exceeding 8 or more absences will go before the Attendance Committee. -Update wording for Library Media Center and Textbooks. Policies and guidelines for technology. -Deliveries – Lunch deliveries are not permitted at Idabel High School, this includes from parents or local establishments. - College Credits - In accordance with concurrent guidelines, students will receive ½ (0.5) high school elective credit for each 3-5 hour college class passed. A maximum of one credit (six hours of college coursework) will be recorded per semester (including summer) on the high school transcript. Students must provide the counselor with grades upon completion of the class. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact Principal Austin during working hours.

There will be no Freshmen orientation tonight. Freshmen orientation will now take place next week. Teachers will be contacting you this week to set up an appointment.

If you would like to be a full-time virtual student this school year, there is an application you must complete and submit. To complete this application, follow the link below. Once you are redirected, you will find a folder named "Virtual Eidabel application." Click on that and print off the application. In light of all of the complications and negative news going on in the world today I want to share some positive news for Idabel High School. This upcoming year we are offering 10 new courses. We are so excited about each and every new course. One of the courses will give students the opportunity to take even more courses because it will be an online course but in a physical classroom. For example, we can’t afford to hire a French teacher if we only have two kids who want to take French, but with this new course, they could take this particular class online. Tomorrow I will be posting a document highlighting all of the new classes. Some of the new classes are self-explanatory but on a few of the new ones I will attach a video of me further explaining what to expect from this class. Be looking for this tomorrow. Go Warriors! Most of the rain has passed us. We have dried off all of the student's seats. Spectators may want to bring a lawn chair or a small towel because the stadium seats are still wet. Graduation will take place at 8 PM at Warrior Stadium.

Graduation is still on as scheduled. All of the rain will be cleared out by then. The coronavirus didn’t keep us down and prevent us from honoring our seniors and a little bit of rain sure won’t. No need to panic! Graduation is at 8 PM at Warrior Stadium!

Students will lineup in the student parking lot going towards the Courtyard like they do every year for Prom. They will drive through the Courtyard all the way to the front parking lot and there the valet parkers will take their car and we will announce them as guests. Parents and family who would like to take pictures park in the back and walk around to the front parking lot and take pictures by the front curb.

❤️🖤 We are doing good. So many people have helped. Only thing we still need is drinks and snacks. If people would like to put drinks in ice chest and drop off iced down that would be great. Also if you want to help but can’t get out please call a local pizza place and send a couple pizzas over tonight! Thank you so much everyone! Idabel is the best!

Vic Clay is going to help park cars. Kaelin Clay came by and helped a little bit earlier. Kelvin Johnson is here now. James and Johnna Smith are sending five pizzas. Every single bit helps. Thank you guys so much! We still need some more people to park and need snacks and help.
