Idabel public schools will not be closed on Monday. We will not be participating in any teacher walk-out. We will be in full session on Monday morning.
Breaking news: the Idabel Warrior band has just won state for the first time in Idabel school history. What a great accomplishment and we’re asking all of you to help us in celebrating. There bus will be coming back to town at approximately 345. We’re working on getting them an escort that will bring them on to the high school. I would like every coach, player, student, teacher, parent, and fan of Idabel to come and join us in welcoming the band back today. We will start gathering around 330 on front of the band hall. It’s a great day to be an Idabel Warrior. The band always supports every single thing that happens at the school and today let’s show them the support they deserve. Go Warriors.

I’m so proud of all of our 4-H and FFA students and instructors out there today facing the tough weather but doing a great job. The sheep show is drawing to an end and the goat show will be taking place afterwards this evening. The beef, and the pigs will show tomorrow, and the sale and dinner will be on Saturday. Go out and support our local FFA, and Go Warriors!!!
Tonight’s first round regional tournament games has been postponed. There will be no games today. The games scheduled for today will be played tomorrow.
Tonight is the night we’ve all been waiting for in Warrior Nation. Tonight our #10 girls and our #8 boys will be playing for the district championship. This is a very big deal for the city of Idabel and for the school. We’re asking all warrior fans to come out and support your boys and girls basketball teams as they continue their historic journey. Girls tip off at 6:30, all admission is #5. Look forward to seeing you there.
We will be having a pep rally today at 2:20 in the gym. We are excited about basketball districts and we are looking to get pumped up this afternoon.
We have an exciting day in basketball today. We will play our last regular season home game tonight. That means it is SENIOR NIGHT!!! We will have senior night ceremonies beginning at 6 pm. Watch your #10 ranked Idabel Lady Warriors take on Haworth at 6:30 and then witness your #8 ranked Warriors play the Lions immediately after. Go Warriors!!!
