IMS will accept Valentine deliveries on February 12th. All gifts must be checked into the office before 12pm - NOON. No balloons will be allowed.

As today's Most Valuably Faculty member, the 8th grade basketball team selected Mrs. Eva Donaldson as the MVF.

Mrs. Eva works tirelessly to maintain our school building, including organizing the clean up of the gym after each home game! We could not function without her!

UPDATE!! Due to Forest Grove having to make adjustments, there will only be 2 games tonight. 8th grade recognition will be between games (estimated 6:00pm). Please have all parents/participants ready to go at 5:45pm.

IMS CHEER TRYOUTS FOR 2026-2027 ARE SCHEDULED! Tryouts are open to 7th and 8th grade students the will attend IMS in 2026-2027.

Mandatory Parent Meeting is scheduled for January 29th at 5:30. A $25 Tryout Fee will be due at this time.

Tryouts are scheduled for February 6th at 4:00pm.

Clinic will be held from 3:04-4:30pm 2/2-2/5.

IMS had our annual Santa Showcase this morning. Several students shared their talents with the school including two band acts, a trio singing group, and our IMS Show Choir! We also did our end of semester cash drawings. Students earned ticket entries for participating in spirit day competitions. We gave 9 students cash prizes and one lucky winner received a pair of Bluetooth Headphones!

Thank you to our wonderful judges: Dr. Alan Bryant, Mayor Craig Young, Mrs. Bullock, CEO of MCCurtain County Hospital Brian Whitfield, and Jackie Lecrone from the Idabel Chamber of Commerce for judging our Teacher Christmas Door Decorating Contest today at Idabel Middle School. Congratulations to our winners: - 1st Place: Mrs. Cannon (Christmas Tree) - 2nd Place: Dean of Students and IMS Counselor: Mrs. Threadgill and Mrs. Bryant (I'll be home for Christmas) - 3rd Place: Mrs Steaveson (gingerbread house) We had 20 entries! A big thank you to the Idabel Middle School staff and students for showing your Christmas spirit. All participants received a Christmas mystery bag with essentials and a certificate. Our 1st place Winner also received a Walmart gift card, and 25 students of her choice were selected to enjoy an ice cream party sponsored by the IMS Student Council. Happy Holidays!
