Today's school wide trivia question sparked some debate amongst teachers and students on the TRUE author of the Star-Spangled Banner. So, here’s a cool fact for the day!
"The Star-Spangled Banner" started as a poem written by Francis Scott Key in 1814 after an anxious night during the British attack on Fort McHenry, Francis Scott Key wrote a victory poem celebrating the Americans' resistance Later, the poem was set to music composed by John Stafford Smith, and that’s how it became the National Anthem of the United States! 🎶✨

Valentine's Candy Gram
Pick a special someone or someones and let IMS student council help you send a sweet message with a personalized note and lollipop. Send as many as you would like! Candy grams are only $1 each. Guardians may purchase as well if the student attends Idabel Middle School. Candy grams will be delivered Thursday February 13th.

There will be no ESports tomorrow. We are working on getting the equipment updated. We will let students know when we have the equipment back. Choir will still meet.
Also, 8th/9th grade Boys Basketball will have their first game in the Umpire Tournament tip off at 5:30 in Umpire, AR tomorrow.
